President’s Message
by Claudia A. Cavallino, D.D.S. – NODA President
As we move into a busy and exciting spring season, I’m pleased to share several upcoming events that highlight the strength, camaraderie, and continuing growth of the New Orleans Dental Association.
On March 18th, NODA will host our General Membership Meeting at Jaeger’s Seafood & Oyster House. Dr. Jared Mason, a nationally recognized endodontist, will presenting on “Managing Endodontic Emergencies.” These meetings remain an important benefit of membership, offering valuable clinical insight while allowing members to stay connected and engaged with the association. We encourage all members to attend and take advantage of this educational opportunity.
Later, on March 20th, we look forward to our President’s Banquet at the Metairie Country Club. This special evening is dedicated to celebrating service, leadership, and the accomplishments of our association. We will be installing the new NODA Board of Directors as well as recognizing our 25-year and 50-year members. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to gather with colleagues, recognize those who have given their time and talents to NODA, and enjoy fellowship outside of the office setting.
On April 9-11, the state’s dental community will come together for the New Orleans Dental Conference and the Louisiana Dental Association’s Annual Session at the Hilton Riverside. This premier event provides outstanding continuing education, access to the latest products and technologies, and meaningful networking with dentists from across the state and beyond. It is always a highlight of the year and a testament to the collaborative spirit of organized dentistry. Register for your opportunity to earn up to 18 hours of high quality CE.
Looking ahead to May, we will wrap up the spring season with one of NODA’s most popular social events—the Annual Crawfish Boil on May 8th at The Kamp in Harahan. This beloved tradition offers a relaxed setting to reconnect with colleagues, enjoy great food, and celebrate our shared community.
Thank you for your continued support of the New Orleans Dental Association. I look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events and to another successful season together.
